The short version
RakooCache stores the data you give it — your products, routine, check-ins, and how your skin feels — to run the app for you. We don't sell your data. You can export everything or delete your account (and all of its data, permanently) at any time from the Account page.
What we collect
Account: email address, optional display name, password (stored only as a secure hash).
Your shelf & routine: the products you add, when you opened them, your weekly routine, check-ins, and product notes/ratings.
Skin & wellbeing logs:how your skin feels day to day, optional journal notes, and one-tap context (e.g. “swam”, “bad sleep”). We treat this as sensitive personal data: it is used only to run features you can see (your journal, your routine adjustments, your own insights), never for advertising, and never shared or sold.
Usage analytics: first-party, minimal event data (e.g. “check-in completed”) to understand what works. No third-party ad trackers.
How it's used
To provide the product: generating and adapting your routine, reminders you set, your progress views, and descriptive insights computed from your own logs. AI-assisted features (like product-label scanning) send only the minimum needed to our AI provider and none of your identity or skin logs.
Shopping links
“Reorder” links may include a referral tag, which can earn RakooCache a commission at no cost to you. Retailers never receive your RakooCache data.
Your rights
Export: download everything as JSON from Account → Export my data. Delete: Account → Delete account removes your account and all personal data permanently and immediately; analytics events are anonymized. EU/UK residents additionally have GDPR rights of access, rectification, and objection.
Retention & security
Data is kept while your account exists and deleted when you delete it. Transport is encrypted (HTTPS); passwords are hashed; access tokens are short-lived.
Not for children
RakooCache is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
